In an effort to continue to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and keep our clients and staff safe, our organization has been able to implement a rapid testing program for staff. This effort was possible due to the donation of COVID-19 rapid test kits from the Health and Human Services Department (HHS). The organization is now providing the possibility for any staff to get tested once a month or as needed. Currently, over 430 staff members have participated in the program.

We are currently facing an unprecedented event with significant implications for all of us. COVID-19 or Coronavirus as it is better known, has upended our lives in ways we could not have thought were possible. We, at Nursing Plus of Broward remain committed to face this challenge to the best of our abilities. We are focused on working together to slow the spread of COVID-19 and sharing information that can help you and your families during this challenging time. We are implementing multiple measures our government officials have recommended to ensure our clients and staff stay safe while we continue to offer home care essential services.
We are very appreciative for the trust our clients have placed in us. We are doing the best we can to keep them safe in the comfort of their homes. Our staff are taking every precaution possible to remain healthy. We are supplying our staff with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as there continues to be a national shortage for this safety equipment. We are providing nursing supervision and training to ensure they follow all preventive measures.
In addition, we have implemented daily calls to our clients to check on their wellbeing and to provide them with relevant information on how to keep safe during this pandemic.
Please rest assured we will do everything in our power to minimize any service disruption, protect our clients and staff, and will continue to work tirelessly to provide our clients with the highest level of quality care.
Sincerely,
Teresa D. Duvall
